MONTREAL - With just the right combination of speed and power, Eric Lucas defeated Dingaan Thobela on Friday, November 30 at the Montreal Molson Center to retain the WBC super-middleweight title. Using his superior size, reach, and strength, Lucas controlled virtually every facet of the fight. In the eighth round, Lucas landed a crushing left on Thobela's chin that momentarily stunned the smaller fighter.
