In a fight that was dubbed a "Hold Nothing Back" match, "King" Arthur Williams defeated Kenny "The Emmett Eliminator" Keene in Boise, Idaho while proudly sporting the famous GoldenPalace.com tattoo on his back. The match was an undercard in the Roy Jones Jr. main event against Prince Badi Ajamu. Kenny came out strong winning three of the first four rounds. But eventually Williams" longer reach wore Kenny down. Keene stayed on his feet until the 10th round, but then Williams delivered some hard uppercuts that dazed Kenny. The referee stopped the fight and that was it. After 55 fights, Kenny Keene's long and glorious career has finally come to an end with a 51-4 career record. The 41-yr-old cruiserweight Williams jumped for joy after the fight was over in what was not only a victory in the books, but a personal victory against age. Here are some great clips from the match, including the referee stoppage after Williams" devastating uppercuts. « Back to Sports Events Main Page Comments on this event None yet.
